So I was replacing the heater/ac knob line that gets kinked... I found out the reason why. The shop that did my HVAC relocation broke off the part where the line sits/clip on the white HVAC controller. So the line got jammed and deformed.

Now I'm looking if anyone has a used intact HVAC controller by any chance before I order online...
