I bought the Evo cash ,but later took out a title loan on it. I still owe a sizable amount on the loan and I plan on paying off that loan just don’t have the cash to do it all at once so eventually I’ll be able to provide the title ,but since it’ll be a while I’m just advertising it as “ no title”
I’d love to pick up this shell. But this entire scenario seems sketchy as ****....
the VIN number is listed, you’re more than welcomed to run a check on it as you please. I took a loan out and used the title as security. I’m still paying on the loan so I won’t have the lien released until it’s payed off in full. Eventually I’ll be able to provide the title ,but since it will be a while from now I’m advertising it “ no title”
if you default on that loan... they will come looking for the car.
you’re right, if I defaulted on the loan they would come to my house looking for it and if they can’t find it, it would be charged onto my credit. I don’t expect a stranger to trust me that I’ll pay it off so that’s why it’s advertised as “no title”. It would be a great parts car or track only car, otherwise it’ll just sit in storage for a year until I get back.
This entire listing should be removed and not allowed. The lister is attempting to defraud a bank and put any buyer in a likely legally precarious position if not outright be scammed.
to the lister: if you have an auto loan on this car, where the bank holds the title, you legally do not own this car and therefore cannot sell it without paying off the bank. When the bank comes “looking for it” it will be through a repossession company and they can take the car wherever it is found in the USA.
