I am selling my 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Final Edition Rally Red! I am THE ONLY owner of this vehicle and I personally purchased it Brand New back on December 11th, 2015. Purchased from Russ Darrow Mitsubishi in Waukesha, WI. I drove it off the lot with 9 Miles on it! Currently, my car has just passed 8,250 miles only!
Before I get into the details specific to my car, let me give you a little background of the Final Edition Evo X. As you most likely know, this is the last version of the Evo X and was discontinued back in 2015. The car is 1 of only 1600 cars produced for the US! My car is Serial Number 0152.
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced the details of the limited-production 2015 Lancer Evolution Final Edition. Arguably the originator of the four-door sports car genre, the Lancer Evolution has seen ten generations - three of which were sold in the U.S. over 12 years. To send it off in style, Mitsubishi Motors will offer 1,600 numbered Final Edition models to the U.S. market with a MSRP of $37,995.
The Lancer Evolution Final Edition is based off the current GSR model, with exterior and interior enhancements not previously offered on the GSR. The heart of the Final Edition is a 5-speed transmission paired with a turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 2.0L engine, producing 303 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 305 lb-ft torque at 4,000 rpm. Performance is further enhanced by use of lightweight two-piece BremboŽ brake rotors up front, accompanied by Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs at all four corners. As with all 2015 Lancer Evolutions, the Final Edition model features Mitsubishi's innovative and unmatched Super All-Wheel control system.
The Final Edition model receives exterior upgrades including a Final Edition badge in the rear, black painted aluminum roof, dark chrome painted EnkeiŽ alloy wheels, gloss black center bumper and hood air outlet and dark chrome front grille surround. Final Edition models will be offered in four colors: new Pearl White, Rally Red, Mercury Gray and Octane Blue.
Inside, a numbered plaque on the center console denotes each of the 1,600 units created. In addition, Final Edition models receive a black headliner, pillars, sun visors and assist handles, and red accent stitching for sport seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, floormats and e-brake handle.
Now that you have a background on the Evo X Final Edition, let me give you some specific details about mine. As it sits, I currently have 8,261 miles on it! THAT'S IT! That equals about 1,600 miles per year on average for the last five years! I only drive the car when nice out and hardly ever in the rain. IT HAS NEVER SEEN ANY WISCONSIN WINTER! Every Winter Season it has been garage kept and ran/moved weekly until Spring shows up and ALL salt is off roads. My car has full bolt ons and has been retuned by AMS down in Illinois twice. It currently makes 336WHP and 357WTQ which is very fun on the street and really comes alive full throttle and pulls hard through the redline. WAY quicker than the stock form while retaining reliability. I have NEVER tracked the car and honestly have only launched the car ONE time, that's it. That took place summer of 2020.

*NOTE: First Oil Change and Transmission Fluid change done at 2,023 miles done by Russ Darrow Mitsubishi Waukesha, WI; Next Oil Change at ~5,000 Miles 5/2017 by AMS when Tuned the Second time which is the current tune. Most Recent Oil Change ~8,000 07/2020 done by me personally with AMSOIL 5W-30 100% Synthetic with OEM Oil Filter.
Condition; Obviously any car with less than 10,000 miles should be in great shape and my car is no exception. I have babied this car to preserve longevity. Again, never tracked or driven overly hard. Just spirited street driving and ONE launch using factory 2-Step. Overall, in my opinion, my car is in Excellent Condition! I would rate the Exterior a 9.25/10 and the Interior a 10/10. I don't allow eating or drinking in my car other than water. I have hardly ever had anyone in the backseat and I don't smoke or vape so the inside still smells like a brand new car! The outside isn't 100% perfect. There are a couple rock chips and a few dings in the hood. I can point out each and every flaw with this car and how they came to be, just ask. Besides a few exterior flaws, the only other thing that may need to be addressed in near future is key fob batteries. I may try and get them replaced before sale but we'll see.
*Exterior: Known Flaws: 3-4 small dings in hood. The worst of them is towards the front driver side along the factory body line in the hood. This happened when my car literally had 900 miles on it... still mad about it! Lol Anyways, I brought my car to work and I parked across the street in overflow parking to park AWAY from anyone to avoid a door ding. I parked a few stalls from the far corner. When I walked towards my car after work, I noticed several semi-large tree branches around my car/parking spot. I started my car to let it warm up and decided to walk around my car. These dings on the hood happened from the stupid tree branches that had to of fallen from trees over a parking stall away. How dumb! No other dings other than on the hood from this incident. The other known flaws are: (1) Small Ding in passenger door above handle. Still have no idea how that one got there and its hard to photograph. Takes the right light to see it. (1) Small scratch on Driver Door very low. Not seen unless you kneel down and try to see it. This happened from opening the door and hitting a jack stand on accident. (1) Rock chip on Driver Front Wheel in the center by center hub. (1) Broken clip on Factory Passenger side sideskirt towards the front. Happened while using a cheaper hydraulic jack and while jacking the car up, it slipped off the rail and fell on the jack. You don't see anything from the exterior, only when you look from underneath you can see it. That's about it that I know of without putting the car under a magnifying glass. All of the above for mentioned flaws are not noticeable without being pointed out. Most people think my car is flawless but unfortunately there are a few flaws.
Why am I selling? Well, my initial plan with the car was to keep it forever and most likely fully build the car. As stated above, I purchased that Sheepey Race Top Mount Precision Turbo kit with plans to build the car, upgrade clutch etc. However, things have changed and the main reason that I am selling is two answers. One, I had a lower back fusion surgery this summer 2020 and so physically working on cars now for me has changed direction. Secondly, my wife and I are trying to start a family and going through IVF which is extremely expensive and so simply put, life choices have changed my mind about keeping the Evo. I am hoping that I can pass this car onto another Evo Lover who will cherish this car as much as I have.

I have almost every single receipt for performance mods and maintenance that's been done and will be included with the car. I have the clean title in hand along with original docs from the dealer when I purchased the car which will of course be included for the new owner. These cars are quite rare and don't come up for sale too often, especially one with super low miles and tasteful mods!
Asking Price: $44,000.00; Currently, Autotrader.com estimates the value of this car at $37,194.00 (10/25/2020) which is in the "Excellent" Condition. My asking Price comes from the rarity and collectability factory of this car along with the increase in value and demand over time due to those reasons along with value of the mods/tuning that have been done (Not to mention the almost $5,000 Turbo Kit included) and the overall condition of the car. Also, all of the stock components included which could be sold on side for extra money if new owner wanted which would be an easy way to make a few grand.
This is a very rare opportunity for someone to purchase a Final Edition Evo that has been tastefully modified, ONE OWNER, Clean, Non Smoked In, Non-Tracked or Abused with very low mileage. My asking price is somewhat firm. What does that mean? I may be open to realistic offers but PLEASE DON'T LOWBALL ME. If you want to offer me $30K, respectfully don't waste your time or mine please. Willing to work out price with the right buyer! Absolutely zero joyrides. I do not let anyone drive my car now let alone someone I don't know. Of course, if you are a serious buyer and can provide proof of funding and are serious about the purchase, a test drive will be allowed. Now, I had originally planned on listing the car Spring of 2021 however I thought I would list now just to get some feelers out there to see if anyone is interested. Wisconsin Winter is here, so weather depending, there may not be any test drives. I have no problem holding onto the car until Spring 2021 however, if there is a serious enough buyer to purchase this Winter I wouldn't say no. Thanks for looking!
