Track Evo needs a new home!  Originally a 2003 Works TR340 Evo VIII purchased 2 years ago, I’ve updated and modified it for track use, with a rebuilt and upgraded drivetrain, suspension (including chassis), catback and cooling.  See below for all the track focused upgrades.  Approx. 155,XXX chassis miles, approx. 15,000 miles on the rebuilt 2.2L Cosworth engine.  I’ve only put about 5,000 miles on it, and only one track day last year.

Car is currently registered and smogged.  However, I don’t expect it to pass smog in the future, so time to move on.  I’m breaking in the front diff and transmission, and it will be ready for the track.  I think the car would serve as a good foundation for further track only development use, e.g. time trial.

The engine is a Cosworth stroked 2.2L assembled by Huffaker Engineering at Sonoma Raceway.

Conservatively tuned at 288.5 HP and 238.2 lb/ft on the Works DynaPack dyno.  The car is a Works TR340 so this is about right for 340 crank horsepower.  Power wasn't a priority as I'm a novice driver, and I wanted the car to be reliable in 100 degrees heat, i.e. Buttonwillow and Thunderhill in the summer.  The engine definitely can be tuned higher.  It's a lot of fun to drive even at this level.
