Hello, been lurking for a while and had this thing just chilling in my driveway, its not getting the love it deserves and I need the money for school unfortunately now. Haven't had much luck in my area, figured I would post here.
Clean title, it is odometer exempt, during a smog early in the cars life the mileage was written down wrong, true mileage is around 132k, odometer says 108k.
Rebuild has around 1300. Rebuild was done by last owner, still in contact with him and he does a lot of Evo's in the area. It was done with Manley rods and pistons, it has a resurfaced OEM crank, block and heads were also resurfaced before the rebuild. I believe it has APR head studs, it has new gaskets from the rebuild. Timing belt, alternator, and water pump were all also done. Is capable of a little over 600hp. All fluid in the car were changed in the process as well.
It has a G4JS heads with OEM Mitsubishi springs, valves, retainers, stock cams for the G4JS head. There are a lot of posts about using these heads on Evo's for anyone who has questions we can chat about it.
Interior is very clean, I spent a long time detailing the inside and trying to find new trim pieces for the ones that weren't all there. Has an aftermarket radio with stock speakers, nothing too special, AEM gauges on the A pillar. Gauge cluster has new faces, old one had a hole that was bothering me so I did the whole thing. Trunk needs the trunk board. Don't have the money for it now, but its in stock on STM.
Exterior, damage reported all over in Carfax, I suspect vandalism but cant find any evidence. There is slight sun fade on the roof, it can be repaired easily, its really only clear coat damage and on the roof. The spoiler was repainted black on the top and the paint is cracking but it can also come off and it wont ruin the carbon on the spoiler. Very clean other than that, no rust on the car, it spent most its life in California or in a garage.
Other modifications, it was wired for bigger injectors, it has stock Evo ones currently. It has either a Walbro 450 or 550 fuel pump, don't remember which one off the top of my head. Battery was relocated to the trunk, it is in a protective box and there is a fuse to disconnect it. The exhaust is an amalgam of different kinds, it is straight turbo back, there is a check engine light for the O2 sensor because it was not bypassed in a tune. EGR system was deleted, Its running on speed density. It is on a stock map with boost turned up to 20psi. ACT 6 puck stage 2 or 3 clutch was put in when rebuilt as well. Turbo is stock Evo 9 turbo, it was rebuilt and got a new bearing in the process. A turbo and a tune would make this thing a ton of fun.
I'm sure there is stuff I'm missing, I have logs of the car running, i have videos of startup and a walk around as well. Let me know if there is anything I can answer.
