Failed a state ref in Commifornia due to a "visual tampered mid pipe"

AFAIK there is no CARB EO aftermarket 02 housing or downpipe. I could be wrong, but pretty sure your only choice will be OEM.

Regular smog inspectors often ignore downpipe / 02 housing, but you aren't getting anything past the ref.

The ref gave me a good 20 min explanation on how he's been doing this forever and recommended a "carb legal downpipe" came out asking me for the carb number lol

The fast option is to buy OEM Mitsubishi part number MN135583. Best prices are around $360 + shipping.
The slower alternative is to get lucky and browse/hunt the wrecker yards for a used one - which everyone else is doing
