For sale is my 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR from Japan. This is an original JDM MR, so it has the black alcantara interior, JDM blackhousing head- and taillights, aluminium roof panel, vortex generator, revised camshafts and turbo, 6 speed gearbox, Bilstein suspension and everything else that makes an MR unique. Fun fact: there have been less Evo 8 MR's produced then Evo 6 TME's.

The car was imported from Japan at the end of 2020 and I took delivery in februari 2021. At that time it had +/- 167.000 kilometers, which was a little on the high side, but this car was by far the cleanest, best maintained example I could find. It had zero modifications except for a HKS cat-back and Apexi air filter. I was specifically looking for a JDM 8 MR in Graphite Grey, which is quite hard to find, especially an example that hasn't been molested. The car currently has around 174.300 kilometers (not miles!).

The car has full (service) history from back in Japan, as well as all of the original books and manuals, it's just a very clean and complete car with a clear history.

What has been done to the car since I own it:

15-05-2022: Mellema Car Care & Detailing Gold Detail treatment including IGL Quartz ceramic coating and full headlight polish
06-03-2022: full maintenance: timing belt, balancer belt, all tensioners, hydraulic tensioner, water pump, accessory belt, accessory belt tensioner, filters, fluids, camshaft seals, valve cover gasket
06-03-2022: ARP head studs out of precaution
06-03-2022: throttle body rebuild out of precaution
06-03-2022: all fluids in the drivetrain have been flushed with OEM Mitsubishi fluids and Motul 300V engine oil
14-04-2021: Brembo calipers have all been refurbished and powder coated including HEL Performance braided brake lines, OEM Brembo brake pads and Motul RBF600 brake fluid

Next to all of the maintenance a lot of small stuff has been done/changed:
- oil dipstick OEM Mitsubishi
- spark plug cover OEM Mitsubishi
- cover + terminal battery OEM Mitsubishi
- side window deflectors OEM Mitsubishi
- door trim OEM Mitsubishi
- roof moldings R/L OEM Mitsubishi
- MR badge interior OEM Mitsubishi
- wiper arms front and rear, windshield front deck garnish, door mirror exterior pillar garnish refurbished and painted

The car has had minor modifications in my ownership:
- Rays Gram Lights 57DR wheels paired with Federal Evoluzion ST-1 tires and Rays lug nuts
- BC Racing BR-RA coilovers

I still have the original Enkei wheels and Bilstein suspension with the car ofcourse. When the car was first registered the rear control arm bushings have been replaced with Powerflex bushings.

As well as I look after the car and as much as I try to keep up with maintenance etc. the car isn't new ofcourse, it's 18 years old, so it has a little bit of wear and tear:
- driver seat has some damage from stepping in- and out
- black paint on one of the door pillars is starting to fade slighly because of the sunny weather in Japan
- a very small amount of stone chips on the front of the car, barely noticable

These are all optical things and as much as I'd love this car to be 100% perfect, I haven't really been bothered with these things. She runs and drives great and that's what is most important to me. The car has one technical 'issue': usually all 3 ACD lights stay on (sometimes they don't, it works fine then). The ACD pump is still good and fluid is on level. After scanning the car it gave a steering angle sensor fault. I have a new one and it will come with the car.

I'm asking €34.450,- for the car ($37.500,- in USD at this time), which seems to me like a reasonable price for a unique, well looked after car. Again, if there's any more information or pictures of the car you'd like, shoot me a message.
