Up for sale is my 2006 Evo IX MR 6speed

The car has almost 95,*** miles, and this number will go up as I do still drive it.

I do NOT NEED to sell the car; I'm listing it as I would like to see what kind of interest there is in the car at this time. If I don't get close to what I'm asking for, I will gladly keep it.

The car was recently re-tuned, inspected, and had compression, boost leak, and leak down tests performed. Everything was given a clean bill of health

The car just made around 370HP on 93, and over 400 on E85. I'm not a numbers guy, but it's no slouch.

I will provide pictures and videos to prospective buyers, but I will not allow any test drives unless I can verify funds first.

The car has a clean title, free of accidents. The car has a lien from KeyBank. Want to finance it? Hit them up, they are one of the few companies that will finance a car of this age.

The VIN is stamped on ALL FACTORY locations. No pieces or parts of this car have been replaced. I will provide more pictures to anyone who asks.

I am the 4th owner. Most of the life of this car was spent in the south, and only within the past few years has it been up north. The car DOES NOT see ICE/SALT/SNOW. I have driven it ONCE in a light snow, prior to salt being put on the roads. The bottom shows no signs of rust, and I can provide photos to those interested.

Please look at the photos closely. The car is in really good condition, but recently the paint was scratched. The scratches are not deep, but it appears someone may have tried to key it. I plan on getting the scratches fixed, but if someone wants to take care of that themselves, I will knock some money off the price.

There are a few little dings and rock chips on the hood, that is to be expected with the age of the car and still having factory paint.

The factory Brembo calipers, in my opinion, are not great looking anymore. They have turned JDM pink from not being careful enough when cleaning the wheels. Obviously this does not affect performance, but I mention it because they will most likely need to be repainted.

The SE lip that is on the car now is CRACKED, and scratched quite a bit. The OEM Factory Lip is in like new condition, so no money will be subtracted as I will be including both.

Car also only has ONE KEY. I have only ever had ONE, but the new owner can go to a local Mitsu dealership and get a new one if they want.

Asking 19,000. Bank will provide title once car is paid off, so please be aware that depending on how the car is paid for, it may take a few days/week for the title to get to you.

Service History:

Car has its oil changed religiously every 3500 miles with Amsoil oil. Only Amsoil.

Last done at 94,000 miles

Timing belt - 63,000 miles (Replaced)

Water pump - 63,000 miles (Replaced)

Pulleys - 63,000 miles (Replaced)

Balance shaft belt - 63,000 miles (Replaced)

All drivetrain fluids, including transfer case, tranny fluid, and rear diff, were replaced at 90,000miles with OEM Recommended DIAQUEEN.


Please note: I will not sell this car to just anyone. I need this car to go to someone who will care for it properly and maintain it the way it needs to be. There are too few Evo's of this age left in the world, and I will not be responsible for killing off another one.
