Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 2003 - 2005
Description:

Hi I am selling a coil on plug setup that I made, it will fit an evo 8 however I can make an evo 9 mounting plate if someone needs an evo 9 cop. All materials were purchased from spoolin up and are brand new. I would also like to add that all connections were professionally soldered instead of crimped. If you are pushing some decent boost you may notice that your car may start to blow out spark, this is the solution to your problem. This is a plug and play setup and comes with everything you need. Again everything is new except for the ignition coils are slightly used. Some specs about the setup:

-Mil spec 18 gauge tefzel wire
-Spoolin up ignition coil connectors
-Harness is sleeved in high temp expandable sheath
-All connections are soldered
-Spoolin up male Mitsubishi coil connectors
-Aluminum plate .125" tapped for M6x1.0 to secure the coil packs

Want to mention that I tested this setup on my personal vehicle and it works flawlessly, .029 gap on br7eix and 27psi and no spark blowout. On the stock ignition I had to run .022 in order to prevent spark blowout.

Wait so you soldered the pins on instead of crimping them?

Yes, I build radio controlled aircraft and have a very good soldering setup and soldered the wires to the pins.

I do not, in the future I may, I just need an evo 9 valve cover to make a proper mounting plate, perhaps Ill buy an evo 9 template and make a few evo 9 mounting plates.
