I might have been scammed by a person who was referred to me by a member here via PM for two Evo 7 wheels located at zip code 38901. I wired the money to his bank and he told me he received the money. I followed up with him via text over the weekend and he told me that he shipped the two wheels last Friday (10/30) and will get back to me with the tracking number because he is traveling. On Monday (11/2), I asked him again for the tracking number and he said OK. I waited but no update. I called his number the next day, it has been disconnected or no longer in service. I email him several times as well and no replies. I contacted our member here three times via PM and no replies. I will wait a few more days to see if the wheels show up. If not, I will provide the name of the scammer, phone number and email address, and the name of our member.

As of 11/14, the Evo 7 wheels did not show up. Now, I will share the details of the scam team, "looky676" is the evloutionM member who referred me to Greg Holmes (779) 333-0709 for the wheels. Here is the looky676 message “Have you checked with Greg via 72grehol@ gmail.com, he has a 2 OEM EVO 7 wheels he wants to part with.” I contacted Greg via email and his reply “Hello, Sorry for the late reply. Yes please, for sale is a set of Evo 7 wheels in a good condition. Yours for $250 (2 wheels) with local pick up in 38901 or you mail me your complete shipping address. https://imgur.com/a/rECvc7Y Respectfully, G Holmes.” After we exchanged several email messages, I agreed to buy two wheels and wired the money to Wells Fargo (routing number 062203751) under the account name “Tasha Holmes”, account number “8083481880”. Now I went back to my PM box and saw looky676 tried to connect me with others several times for items I wanted to buy in the past. It is a jungle out there. Beware of the PM from “looky676” and "Greg Holmes"!
