I had an agreement on a carbon fiber hood with him and he called me after I drove 2 hours and raised the price by $100. I was within 30 min of his house so told him no. Wasted time and gas money!

There is no good reason to do something like that after an agreement has been made. Leave the appropriate feedback if he wants to act like that.

No doubt. It was a douchbag thing to do....maybe he thought the OP would've just said screw it and bought it anyway for more since he made the trek. I would've walked away on pure principal.

That is just plain rude. I had a member on here agree with me on an extremely fair price, and then purposely send me less money on Paypal without discussing it with me. When I asked him about it he said that "he didn't think it was worth the price that we'd agreed on anymore".

Like others have said, leave the appropriate feedback so we know who not to deal with.
