I posted that I wanted to buy a complete exhaust from turbo and back, but did only receive a catback...

After alot pm back and forth, I ended up paying 300 shipped to NJ, which was ok due abit more expensive shipping that he first thought.

I just got the "complete exhaust from turbo and back" I paid for. But when I unpacked the goods, I only got exhaust from cat and back. So the downpipe and cat is missing...
I have sent a pm to the seller the 28th of April, but have not got any reply yet. I paid with paypal. This is very sad since I paid about 200 usd just for shipping from NJ to Norway.

What to do next?

I tried to file a dispute, but got this message:

It has been longer than 45 days... I payed for it in february and he did not ship it when promised, so it took a very long time before it arrived Norway. About 60 days...

Sux to say but now your at the mercy of the seller unless you paid with a cc then you can get the money back through them.

Why didnt you ask to see pictures before you buy?
Especially when its buying used, don't you want to at least see the condition of the item?

I asked for pictures several times, but I never got any pictures, and I needed the exhaust in a hurry... I saw he had a pretty good feedback and I thought all was good...
I have bought alot of used and new carparts from worldwide and 99% of the guys I have been dealing with, have been honest. Got fraud for 300 usd one time dealing with an E-bay guy called "Trinkettroll"(maybe spelled wrong). Too bad that there a some people here in the evo community we cant thrust.
The 45 day you have available are too few when buying parts that are shipped sea, because it normally take a least 30-40 days + custom delay before I have the parts...

Call you cc company and tell them you paid for an item you never received. I've never heard of this not working.

I wouldn't tell the CC you never received an item when you have especially with delivery confirmation. If they look into it and you signed for it then your in big trouble. At least if it was left at your door someone could have "supposedly" stole it.
