Hello sorry to bother but i just read your post about your engine swap and i was wondering if i could do a swap close to your but keep it automatic. By the way I'm not really a car guy just trying to get into the scene now, I just got this car as a daily but me and my wife wanna turn it into something more and having read your thread she got more into wanted to try it. Hope to hear from you soon thank you.

hey, just admired your many pages of posts and writeup on your AWD Lancer Evo convert... nice work!

Hoping you can give me some pointers, after months of procrastination of swapping my timing belt (by months I mean I had the timing belt kitw/ waterpump purchased since february sitting in my garage) it snapped on me last week, wouldn't fire and found no compression in cyl 2 and 4..

current event; sourced a local engine with 155km vs. mines 260km.

Questions: Can I pull the 4g69 engine UP with transmission attached ? I'll be doing this in my garage with no lift and borrowing engine hoist. Shop manual states to drop it ... also, do i need to drain transmission fluid ?

Any other tips you can give me ?

It's been over a decade since I did my first engine swap in a honda prelude..

    Your advice is much appreciated!

Hey I had a quick question about your 4g69 swap I had rolled my ralliart and everything motor wise is still good I got an oz today how do I go about the wiring harness.? Does it run all the way to the back of the car or stop under dash? Any other things I should know before I go pulling the 4g94 out??
