Thank you for your reply! Eagle cranks has issues with thrust bearing surface being too small. I dont know about 100mm cranks but all eagle 88mm thrust bearing surface is way too small and it is eating the bearing after some time. Eagle knows about this problem and they are working to correct it but they don't know how long will it take. I stopped using them 2 years ago after 4 engines came back to me after I put them together with same thrust bearing damage. After I made measurements of the thrust bearing surface on eagle it came down that there is manufacturing issue with them. I know David Buschur found same issue with them. I started using Callies billet, they are great but pricey. On this build I decided to go with 2.3L oem 100mm crank and fp red turbo. The goal is to make 500whp . I hope oem crank will not crack. Thanks!!!

Hello, I hope you are doing great, I found on old forums that you used oem 100mm cranks a lot in the past. I have a question. I was building 2.0L engines for a past 10 years but I have never build a 2.3L. I have some parts to build 2.3L with oem 100 cranksaft. Is it good idea to use oem crank at around 500hp and 480-500trq? Also is it even a good idea to build 2.3L I know they side load pistons and also wearing bearing faster or should i avoid them and try to do another 2.0L or 2.2L Thanks for help

Hi John I would like to get a tune from you but first I need your honest opinion is it worth to do it.my plan is to keep stock Evo 9 turbo but install all ported parts possible.im,tb,em .currently I have basic bolt ons, tuned on E85,pushing 360/350 on mustang dyno.can we extract more power or just minimal? I'd like lower my time to 11.2 sec on 1/4 mile.my best run was*11.6@117mph.thank*you for your time.Eddy.
