    I have th following setup:

    2.0 Evo 8
    HKS 264/272 combo

    1. What cam gears settings would you recommend for best all around performance?

    2. A lopey idle?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Ted B,

Best cams and setting for a built 2.0 with FP Black. I want the quickness not the top end anymore.

    Thank you!!

What I posted was specifically for you. That setting will maximize top end power without hurting spool. The idle will be a little choppy, but not too bad.

Hey man i was looking at your post for cam gear tuning and i was wondering what the best setting will be for 280 hks and ams gt35r kit. i seen you put -2 exh and -0 int but not sure if it was in response to mine or not. i set it to -0 exh and -2 int but havent got to drive it yet. but let me know what you think and thanks in advance

Darren, the first thing I would check is the EGR connection as per the code. It may be as simple as a disconnected tube. This is a common issue. Search it and you will find where others have had a similar situation.

    Ted,
Have a small issue with my 8. All was well, and had a shop install a new tilton twin plate into the car. He drops the subframe to do it, as he reckons it's easier. Now I have severe idling issues, and the car tends to cut out a lot. Now it gives me EGR solenoid errors, and now also a cylinder 4 misfire error ? have checked the grounding - could the rear 02 sensor be damaged and cause this ? under boost it's very happy - but I cannot set the idling. Maybe stepper motor packed up ?
    any help please
    thanks

I do not know. They should have included documentation to tell you. Usually, a firm, snug fit without overtightening will do.

    thanks in advance
