almost 17k, mine is slipping in 3rd gear up, at full boost. You install your cams yet?

I see.. yep, I have a little bit over 17k ish and mine stocker feels weird too. I haven't done cams yet, waiting on to get some help for the install from anybody 8- ) I am gonna get them put in whenever somebody can hook me up with the install because I should have money for a clutch by end of next month.

what do you mean it feels weird? shouldnt feel weird, it should just slip like its out of gear.

 

I just went out to test if my clutch will hold up, and indeed it still does. Lol, I guess by feeling weird meant it felt weak, I havent drove my car in a while as much so maybe I forgot the way it felt. I put the car into 5th gear at like 20-25 mph and floored it til it hit like 70-80ish and it kept grabbing fine and didn't slip it all. So I'm gueesing that my clutch will still hold up. I am going to go cams asap now before I get my clutch by next month if I can have the finances. Anybody know if Alex still comes on here or seen him lately, the dude with the silver evo? He said he could do cam installs, I believe he did his with camgears, and he mentioned $150 a while ago, but I was always broke. I believe his name on here is evolve or somethin, I forget, but yea, I wanna get them on now and it would be best if someone around here can do them. I don't wannt drive all the fawk way up to northern va to get my cam installed at a much higher price and on top of that pay for gas 8-x . Let me know what's up 8-)

 

By the way I might be heading to Turbo Trix with a friend on june 13th or so.. He already has his appt to get tuned and etc. He just needs to get his 10.5 installed before he goes. He has the regular bolt on mods, but doesnt want cams yet. Or is still undecided if he wants cams or the 10.5 first. But yea, who else wants to come?? I know its a long *** drive 8-x , I might not take my car up there to get tuned yet until I get my clutch first, but want my cams in asap!

 

I think Alex has been on deployment for a little bit!?!? but he hasnt moved out of the area though if thats what you mean.

was wondering if anybody here can do a 10.5 hotside install? A buddy wants to know if somebody local can do the install he said he would pay $100 or so. He doesnt have it yet and is going to get it within 2 weeks and wants to know if somebody can hook him up. I told him somebody on this board probably can lol, hey James you did the 10.5 correct? If so hit me up.. lol if I get some extra cash on the side I might be gettin one of those things as well..

 

I'm about to get clutch/flywheel also, which ones are you looking at?
