I like them powered coated black with chrome Magnus lettering. That is ****... I was going to do that to mine before I installed it but I didn't want to wait to have it done, I just wanted the powa.

And that is the reason why my stock frame FP Black is knocking on your back door. You would prob gain another 40whp with a v5. And switching to short route UICP when you do the v5, you won't lose any spool.

I went 2.3 for quicker spool and more torque. One day maybe an upgraded turbo but likely stay fp red or so. Not going to do e85 unless it becomes absolutely necessary. Got 750 for Injectors and pump. Then got a Lil extra for dyno.

Go LR2.4. Wiseco now stocks on the shelf HD1400 pistons for the LR2.4 and GSC stocks the 156mm I beams. So it is almost the same price as a std 2.4 now that you don't have to pay for "custom" parts, unlike I had to since I was one of the first LR2.4s.

btw, your 02 housing you ordered wont fit without a lot of modifications. You will have to get a custom dp made because the 02 eliminates the donut flange. Didn't know if you knew that or not. It is not a plug and play, not even close. So you will need to get a whole new dp made from an exhasut shop. Also I would have done a dump just for the extra 25whp, unless you hate that noise at WOT.

Troy, I would not do a FP Red. I had the FP Red, great turbo, but when I went to the Black it was only spooling 100rpm slower. There is no need for a Red. You can not feel the difference in spool, almost identical. It was so close we couldn't really tell it was spooling slower on the dyno until we swithced it from rpm to mph and then we could tell it was just a bit slower. 100rpms is nothing, trust me! You should go Green or Black. A Black on a nice setup like a stroker can do 500 on pump

You have the money for injectors and pump? Call Matt and get some PTE 1200s and a Walbro 255 with install kit, then we can get you setup.

I have no clue around here... we will have to ask around.

That would be cheaper for you in the long run Troy, instead of you having to buy a Black straight out.

a Aeromotive 340 or deatschwerks dw300 and 1200cc
To get that stroker to life with power

 

Precision Powdercoating out by Oceana has been suggested to me by a couple of people.

Also, there is an exhaust shop over by Hampton that actually has a Mandrel Bender if you are going to be set on the O2 you bought
