They wont do reflashes though. Has anyone had any motor work done with all aspects? I was thinking of getting my cams put in by them.

 

Cams are easy. About 2 hour job. Save your money. I can help if needed. I do all my own work, including clutch replacement. I did all the work on my vii and this one.

 

I second that. I can do flashes, and I've done 4 4G cam jobs. Super easy. All thats needed is zip ties and the tensioner pulley tool. (have both)

BTW, if you're looking to get a flash done, please tell me you have a WB.

Gary- Don't look at me for that install, I will never do that again. That sucked. Took me and 2 other experienced techs something like 8 hrs at a dealership w/ a lift and all tools imaginable. Can't trust others w/ a clutch job though either... Rock and a Hard place.

 

Well i just purchased an Exedy Twin Disk. Iam going to order a new slave Cylinder as well as the hardlines from the master to slave. I got someone lined up to do it. I swapped out a clutch with another person in a garage with 2 jack stands and an engine lift. And me bench pressing the tranny into place and iam a small guy so me bench pressing anything is hard haha.

 

Guess noone is getting together tonight? Anyone have a spare AVC-R boost pressure sensor?

 

In my parking lot i have 3 Evo's and an IS300 thats all of people who live with me.

 

my car is finally back on the road, thank god, some minor tweaks in the morning and she should be running good. will put some pics of the finished product, when I get her cleaned up.
