Yeah, that was probably the most complete domination of another team in Ravens history. I'm glad it came against the "Stillers". He said that was the biggest hit he's had in his life. I in fact know that Bart Scott "backed off" from hitting him, since he had such a clean run. He REALLY could have hit him much harder!!!

man u people need to learn your years...

"The NFL officially made its return to Baltimore after a 13-year hiatus on September 1, 1996, with a 19-14 Ravens win over the Oakland Raiders. That was one of the team's few highlights in their inaugural season."

being as hateful as i can against the ravens (1st round exit in the playoffs i hope) as i can be, if u bleed black and purple you would KNOW that 1996-1997 season to the 2006-2007 season (the current season if u can figure that out) would be 10 years. yes the team moved to this god forsaken city in 1996, and played its 1st game in 1996. contrary to popular moronic baltimore fans beliefs, as of febuary 8, 1996 was 10 years... and if you want to be even more technical, the nfl ONLY officially recognized the ravens debut on the day of sept1, 1996... whoever decided last year that was the "10th season" was horribly mis-informed as thier season ended on the last week of the 2005 season, 1 month and a couple weeks short of "10 years".

so u see, as of feb 8, 2007 you will have been a season ticket holder for 11 years...

your welcome for this history lesson

no, next year will be the 11 season, if u knew anything about how to add, and how the nfl calls thier schedule you could understand. so they played the 1996 season which is and was called the 1996-97 season as the league still plays into the new year. so from 1996-97 to 2006-07 is 10 years. simple math. its called the idiots in baltimore who cant add. what they celebrated last year was the 9th annv, which they called #10.

the only way it is 10 years is if they played during the 1995-96 season which they in fact did not. as they moved here in 1996

once again for the uneducated (meaning silver06) 1996 + 10 = 2006, not 2005.

this is the 10th season, it doesnt matter how u add it up. they will have been here for 11 years in feb of 07, if they have been here for 11 years in feb 07 how was last year 10? did we magically skip a year that the rest of the world isnt aware of?
