Going rate for an evo off the lot?

I'm just wondering what people have purchased their EVO's at? I'm really considering getting one, wait wait, no I really want one, but I'm hesitant to see if I can afford it or not. I'm jumping back and forth between a WRX and an EVO.. any input would help. Thanks.

I hope its the WRX STI and the EVO that you are jumping back and forth between...because honestly after reading the reviews and tests of both cars from a plethora of sources, the EVO is a better all-around car, while the WRX STI is faster in the 1/4.

If you are talking about the WRX v. the EVO, it's no contest EVO for sure!!!

MSRP on mine was $30,812. I paid $28,860. That was in late April.

When I was buying my car (about 3 weeks ago), I called every dealer within the 30 mile radius of DC. With the exception of a few dealers, most now charge MSRP. One thing you shoud consider is that, I found most EVOs to have the sunroof, which means you're a going to be forced to add $750 to the price. I really didnt want to get one, but it was impossoble to find one without. I found some, but they were a test drive car (big no!) or in a color i didnt want.

BTW - WRX does not even come close to this car. If you can't afford the EVO now, wait a few more months. You will regret it later.

I think the price really depends on the color?
