anyone have some reliable info on if they are opening this friday night? I keep hearing rumors, then last minute it's delayed a week.

 

Not this weekend, they are planning to open next Friday. I plan to drive by tomorrow on my way to work to see if the new surface has been started. Ill update this thread after work.

 

My car isnt ready yet. but im happy to come down and watch/support fellow evo owners headed down to race as well as lend a hand if need while racing. just post when you are thinking of going only 15 mins from me.

 

I drove by today and was pretty surprised to see they haven't even started on the track. I wouldn't be shocked to see the opening delayed a few weeks. Then again I have no idea how long it actually takes to do concrete/blacktop work.

 

That doesnt sound good. Be nice if they actually prepped the track nice for once and fixed the dip in the one lane and crack in the other. just talking out loud.

 

Anyone going to etown on march 10 and 11?

 

Drove by the track again today and it looks like they were setting up the forms to pour the concrete. Hard to tell exactly as I didn't actually stop this time. Any progress is good enough for me, I haven't done anything to my car in weeks anyways. Hopefully we are only a few weeks away from racing.

I may ride up to E-town next weekend, gotta see if any of the locals are planning on going and what the weather looks like.
