HKS Type-0

I got the HKS turbo timer and wiring harness. Don't know if I should attempt it myself, but the shops out here in south o.c. want between 150-300 dollars to do it. The reason being that they "have to splice into the computer and requires extensive labor". From what people are saying on this forum, I thought I could give it a go. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

geezzz they trying to charge 150-300 they crazy. all u need is the harness and tap one ground wire in to the hand brake wire. Thats pretty much the same with all turbo timers. unless u have one with a boost gauge, or a a\f gauge. that takes a littl more work.

Hey stone,

What help do you need? it's a very simple procedure, thus it does seem to be a bit intimd at the beginning. LMO and I can probably walk you through the procedure.
