guys i thought this was funny
yes, apparently someone else has also unvailed the "first" RS in the USA according to another post on this board... there are going to be a lot of first RS's out there soon, i think you should show up to all the release parties in your RS
Ken,
If you're trying to **** off a large majority of posters on this site and all of SoCalEvo.net, you're doing a good job. We know you got the RS - no need to hate. The SoCal guys were told that their meet would be the release of the RS in the US. Their meets number 50-60+ Evos - your meets? Exactly - and before someone comments, I am a member of Ken's local Evo Club, DC Evo Club, as well as of SoCalEvo.net.
Not cool....

He's a member on DCEvoClub.com
Arsenal can smoke my pole... LOL Man Utd will return in 2005...
Clarification: I am not down on DC Evo Club (I was one of the founding members) or Ken himself. I was just questioning the wisdom of rubbing their nose in it.
Ken - I know you're proud of your RS - plenty of people here would love to know more about it. Just choose a different route next time.

yeah.. i hope manU can make it through Champ Lg. qualifying round! hahahaha... I knew what you meant about dcevo... that you're not dissing him or the club, and to prove it, you're member of both clubs, and prefer that people respect both clubs.
Hey everybody,
1. I'm not trying to **** off anybody. I was simply saying who really has the first RS? We were talking about this at the club meet. Which one rolled off the assembly first, destined for the U.S.? Which one rolled off the docking bay first? Which one got on the truck first? Which one rolled off the dealer's lot first? What constitutes the first RS? We were having fun with it
Not out to hurt anybody. Why can't we all get along?
2. I'm not sure what it means to be part of the club. As of right now, I am not part of any club, DCEvo or otherwise. So what I say is my own personal opinion and doesn't reflect anybody else's opion. I don't speak for nor do I represent any club. I just came out to the meet to hang out with some cool guys I met at a gas station. Sue me
3. I think everybody is cool. I met some nice people, some cool people, some good people, some bad people. It's the luck of the draw. But on the most part I think you guys are cool. I'll continue to come out to some future meets and hang out with the Evo crew. I felt like I was in a freaking cartoon caravanning to UMD
4. Chris in H.B., we have to exchange PMs. I didn't mean any disrespect towards anybody, or to draw attention to myself, etc. I simply thought it was funny that they were celebrating something that wasn't true. Everything I said was true to the best of my knowledge. If Josh or somebody there said, "look, Josh took delivery of his on May 4th, so on and so forth," then I would be cool and say, "my mistake. it's all good." If he didn't, then his wasn't the first RS that got final delivery, and I think they should clarify the flyer to say "one of the first RS" instead of making it look like they have the exclusive dibs. I think that's misrepresentation, and it wouldn't be a wise move for the dealership. But that's all. I have no malicious intent other than to make your day a little more interesting
5. I appreciate the cars and the people behind them. We didn't have a big release party for mine. And no 30-40 Evos showed up. But the fact remains that I don't think they should say "the first RS" unless it were true. That's all.
Finally, why are we all getting upset about it? It's cool either way. It doesn't really matter who gets what first, as long as we're happy with the car. That's what counts, right? Sometimes being first... isn't such a good thing after all
So that's that. Relax, enjoy life, and happy driving.

P.S. If you don't like the RS, then it's definitely not for you. Do what you like. Don't do what you don't like. Also, don't force your preference upon others. Life's too short to stress. Be happy with what you got (a kickass car any way you equip it
). Smile once in a while. Be happy.
