Im updating this for spring and will offer a group-buy to evom members. The standard price for locals(b'more, wash.) is $850, but I will go as low as $700 if I get 10 or more buyers. Be aware that I am a mobile installer and will travel to your residence to do the job. I just need access to a garage. Please contact me at 443-857-6916 or email me at clearbrasforcars@yahoo.com or customclear@tmail.com. Look forward to hearing from you.

Keep in mind this is a great price for this kit INSTALLED!! The list price alone for the extended Evo kit is $630. See it here at: http://www.xpel.com/products/configu...&submodel=2721

How much do you charge for just installation? The material prices you quoted are very high. Complete 3M Stongard kits are readily available for less than $450. 3M Stongard website. Just curious what the difference in the material is that makes the cost so much more expensive.

I can't give you an answer as to the durability of their material because I'm not sure who really makes it. I do know how well the 3M material applies and holds up though.

The biggest price difference between the kits are the design of each kit. I only use the Extended Coverage Evo kit from Xpel. The Stonegard kit doesn't go nearly as far back on the hood or bumper as the extended kit I use. Why spend your hard earned money on a kit that may be cheaper installed, but is not gonna give you the coverage that your car needs!

I encourage any prospective buyers of a clear bra to look into the installed price of the Extended Coverage or equivalent evo kit. As you will see, the price that I am offering to you and other Evom members is an excellent price. I also stand by my work 100%. If you're not satisfied, Im not satisfied!! I am willing to make fellow evo owners the best possible deal that they can get. Please feel free to email me at customclear@tmail.com or call 443-857-6916 if you guys(or girls) have any questions.

Damn. I was looking into getting this done for my car but didn't realize how expensive it is.

Yeah, its not cheap to get done. The kits themselves are expensive and the labor is fairly expensive. This is a product that is pretty hard to apply.

Thanks hueman, just trying to get my company some recognition locally. Like I stated above, this is NOT easy to do. I'm trying to hook up with some local Evom members and give them a really good deal on this!

Exciting News Oct 28, 2006 03:43 PM

Guys, those are pretty good prices installed. I got mine done (not by 4G63) the week I got my Evo. Average price was about $1000 with one as high as $1500. If If didn't have it done already this would be a no brainer.

:edit: Just realized the thread's age. I must be a Necromancer...

My 2 cents on this mod is very expensive and hard to do, if the installer make a mistake they are basically screwed on material and they have to heat the material to get it off. My evo came with it from the dealership, Hood guard, whole bumper, headlights, and side mirrors. I forgot how much it was but definetly over 1k.

I have the 3M material and its on a 03, I use to live in Vegas so its been through heat and cold, I also drove it from LV to Texas not a single rock chip, but I do have hail damage on the hood. Here's some pix and you can barely see it, I do have some dirt marks on the edges where dirt get stuck but thats my fault for not washing my car or giving it a detail more than I should.
