Help! who's evo 8 is this?
 

Hey everyone, need help in finding out who's evo 8 i found that is for sale. The car has what seems to be the rnr 35r kit (the turbo is top mounted), meth injection (snow kit), aem, hks exhaust, apexi boost gauge (in bar not psi), may or may not be a build motor but the numbers do not match. The guy who is selling the car got it in a PA auction and has no clue about the car.I ran a carfax and the car was purchased and owned in MD. The car is a White '04 RS, aftermarket radio, looks to be lowered, stock wheels, non HID, and may have a short shift kit with stock shift knob. Not sure but it may have an aftermarket clutch (lets hope). I'm thinking ACT extreme but not 100%. Any help would be much much appreciated. Thanks guys

the question isnt very vague. I gave all the details i have on the car. I am trying to see who previously owned it because the owner now has no clue what has been done to the car. if it wasnt for me and another forum member he would have put windshield wiper fluid where the methanol was hidden. just looking for some help, if u cant thanks anyways

if it helps im looking for who built the car, who tuned it, anything else that may or may not be done to it than is important, things that one would want to know before purchasing a heavily modded car.

Those are things he should have asked before he purchased the car. He shouldn't have bought a heavily modded without actually understanding everything that has been done to the car. I also think the seller should have informed your friend of everything that was done.

i agree. but that isnt the case. the Guy bought the car at an auction. I'm guessing from the carfax that the car was a repo. It seems to be very clean, I'm taking it to a shop nearby to get it inspected. I typically would turn a car down like this since the owner has no idea, but its a very good deal. As for pictures it looks like a stock RS. thanks for the help guys

I think they're saying pictures of the unique parts, like the engine bay, stereo, etc. Then someone might recognize the setup. Obviously an exterior photo will do no good.....

why does everyone hassel the guy, white rs with rnr kit from maryland is pretty specific, not many rnr kits. if you dont know, dont say anything, you dont have to be a ddiiiickkhead about it.

wel it looks like mid atlantic area has some southern hospitality. dont rag on people when they ask a question.

I know I didn't touch that thing and I've touched a lot of EVOs in this area.
