Mach V Mega Colossal Meet & Charity Car Show: July 26, 2008
 

Yes, I know it's the day before the DC Evo Club picnic, but our third annual Mach V Mega Colossal Meet & Charity Car Show will happen on Saturday, July 26, 2008.

Proceeds benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. Last year we raised $1300. I'd like to better that this year! Like the last two years, it'll be a car show, with prizes for Best Engine Bay, Best Exterior, and Best of Show, plus a bonus prize for Car We'd Most Like to Own Ourselves. If you don't have a Subaru, there will be classes for other cars, too.

There'll be a voluntary $10 donation to attend. Registration for the car show will be $25 in advance, $45 the day of the show. See the link below for registration info.

Car show setup will be from 9 am to 10 am, with the event beginning at 10 am and lasting until 4pm. The coveted show trophies will be awarded starting at 4pm.

Other attractions: Paintless Dent Repair on-site! Bikini Car Wash!

Dan - I'm a little disappointed in the "bikini car wash". This is not an "Import Tuner" magazine kind of crowd (at least I would hope not). My group of car enthusiast friends is coed (including a female Evo owner and my fiancee). Any 2nd thoughts on this?

Can they do it on alluminum hood? the paintless dent removal that is, thank you!

Hmm. I'm afraid you are in the minority on this. But I promise, the bikinis will be nothing you wouldn't see at the local pool. I've got a family, too.
