Hopefully we could organize a nice shoot in or around Cleveland and I can use my approach to give you guys some nice shots. I wont ask for any fee in exchange for using the photos for my own marketing and I can provide copies on disc or download. If you want prints up to 17" x 44" I can produce them in my home studio, but I may need some help with covering the cost of ink and paper. I hope that is reasonable.
It may be a while before I can get my online gallery up and running, but in the meantime, I look forward to discussing any ideas and locations you guys can come up with. I dont know the Cleveland area at all, so I'm really going to depend on you all to figure out some good locations and then we'll need to figure out a schedule - date & more importantly time of the day for lighting.
Hope that helps to answer a few questions. Should we start a new thread to discuss the specifics?
cheers,
Matthew.

What do you guys recommend? Any place up there we can stage some shots and not have to worry about blocking traffic or being in anyone's way? I'd like to shoot somewhere where the background is not too cluttered, yet is complementary to the shots/colors of the cars. Unfortunately - I have no idea about Cleveland nor its scenic possibilities.
Just having a look through the Show & Shine section, I see a lot of parking garages and some nice shots in a gravel yard/concrete mixing facility (if that is what it is?). Someone also mentioned a hangar - thats cool too - anything around an airport usually will have plenty of space that we could do a lot of interesting shots. Downtown would be great also. Lot of options. Just a matter of time of day and location.
More or less, I am interested in what you guys have in mind - if you were to put yourself in the position of a client seeking photography - what would you want out of your shoot?
Thanks for the opportunity - I am greatly looking forward to this.
Red Evo at University of Akron...
My girlfriend saw a red evo on her campus (University of Akron) on Monday night i think? She said it was dark out so it might've been a different car...
