Just wanted to give you all a quick update on whats going on here at DeiPro Motorsports, and wish you all a very happy and safe New Years!
I have been pretty busy working on my personal 2G car, transforming it from a true full weight, full interior street car that ran high 10's to a more slimed down streetable race car that should run mid to low 9s. A carbon hood, hatch, and lexan rear glass will aid in weight reduction, as well as the new fuel cell in place of the stock unit. Im shooting for just under 2800 lbs.
The car is completly gutted including the dash and the wiring on the car is being completly reworked. After the wiring is sorted out and the cage is installed, the car will be painted Cadillac Black by Scott (sscollision), and then reassembled.
Shearer called me today to let me know that he started building my manifold and that it will be done early next week, which is awesome turn around since I let him know that I would be needing one earlier in the week... thanks Ron.
I will be running an HTA35R and using e85 as fuel for daily use. The engine is a DeiPro Spec 2.3L with a pretty trick cylinder head on it. I will be experimenting with cams for the new setup when the car gets back together after paint.
Other than that, I have been busy doing some engine calibration work for a few customers, and have been building two SRT4 engines for a couple of guys that are looking to have two of the meanest street SRT4's in the country (700-800hp).
Again, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Let me know if you guys need anything!

Bad *** Kyle. Get a hold of me we need to hang out and talk about some things bro
Hey I live in summit. im more or less forced to get collectors plates to not have to e check... honestly i could just put spade connectors on the wiring harness and switch back from the ame to stock ecu and make a fake cat and rear O2 spacer and be able to pass that way....... just too much work

As long as you are tuned properly and on the stock ECU, (with a catalytic converter of course) you should have no problems passing. My sled was pretty wild (running 11.2's in the 1/4) and on the stock ECU and I always passed.
Now, for me I have a new dilemma as I have an AEM. I'm pretty clueless but I've got time to sort it out as I do not drive it in the winter.

At the time when I was running 11.2's, my car was dynoflashed. The tunes were fine but I hated waiting for Al to come to town, getting the parts on the car before he got here, adding parts after the tune made the old tune obsolete, etc.. All in all it was a very inconvenient way to mod the car.
Now, there are more tuning options for us here in NE Ohio. I *think* that David Buschur now "flashes" Ecu's. He and I chose the AEM for my car and he is an absolute wizard with that setup. The only inconvenience for me is e-check. I have to pull the AEM out and put in the old Maf flashed ecu for the check. I also have to switch out the test pipe for the cat. It's a bit of a pain but for me to drive 412 awhp on pump is well worth it!
