It was going to be in front of the back wheel, but clearence issues with "future" coilovers could be a problem, so It is comming out the front fender!! Tastefully done of course!

With the Methanol injection, side pipe exhaust comming out of a 3.5 inch hole just behind the FRONT tire, is definetly going to roast my passenger vinyls with the large fire ball spitting out between gears!! Now I see why my Mom told me not to play with knives when I was little!! I guess I cant drive around with my dog hanging her head out the window, I dont want to have to pull over to "put the dog out"!, I guess we can practice the "sit....duck....roll technique!

Does this mean when you downshift you will get a small "poof" of fire from that pipe??!!
That would be cool! Guess you have to take off some vinyl....it might smell when it burns.

ooohh I might have to drop by too.....due to unfortunate finacial problem (the one i talked to you about kevin) I will probably have to put the cams and cam gears on hold. Although if people don;t buy your cams I might just buy them and not install for awhile until I can get the gears, fuel pump, and install.

I am sure that with high RPM shift, (I think with methanol the flame will be blue) there will be more than a "small" puff of fire! Especially with high rpm "coasting" like NASCAR. We'll go for a ride tomorrow when I get home from work. Whoever has the hairest arms gets to go first, (hanging the arm out the window)
Killa, yeah that sucks about that Gator thing, we'll get your ride fixed up, DrBump has first dibs on cams, and he said he still wants them, sorry. The switch can go from full open, to fully closed and any incriment in between, should be cool, I like to have something different, I guess this will do for now!

Its all good on the cams Kevin...I probably should get a different combo anyways since I tend to lean towards autocrossing and road racing. I think a 264/272 or 264/264 combo might be the way to go for the stuff I'm trying to build the car to do.

I love the idea for the side exhaust....i saw something on these forums with a guy that had a valve the could open and clos electronically.....i;m guessing you have something similar...that will be sweet!!!

I've got a couple ideas that I might implement once I get my primary performance stuff finished on the car....If I get off work in time Thursday I'll stop by Mitsu!

yea killa, its the same electronic dump by quicktime performance. Send your Xede in to shiv for a V3 reflash, and we can tweak the tables to optimize the performance with the stuff you have now!

do the Xedes need to be sent in now for reflash? Or can you still load it yourself?

Hey Dave,
I saw you too, and I wish I could sell them to you, but DRBump said If I sold them from under him, its nothing but sugar in my gas tank! We'll talk next year at the Winged Warrior at IRP next May, but hopefully we'll get together before that!
