I just got back from Okoboji this past weekend and didn't see one EVO.

 

im the only one in okoboji ...seriously.

 

hey i was wonder..there is only one shell that i know here..i was wondering is there any 76, chevron or any other shell (the only shell i know of is the one next to bridgestone/firestone plant on 2nd street) in the des moines area? or what gas do you guys put? kum n go? quick trip? quick stop? are those gases any good?> please inform me so i dont have to travel such distances for some shell gas! lol

I don't know where there are Shell stations. I usually just use Phillips 66 or BP. But I rarely drive mine on the streets anymore. I've never had any issues with those two and that's what I use on the track.

 

What color is your car?


I normally get gas at BP on 86th and university. 92 Octane there.

my car is TB, bone stock- was thinking of lowering it but not sure since this will be my fist winter here

 

lowered in the snow isnt THAT bad ...just make sure you have some decent winter tires.

 

Or get a cheap winter beater

 

i was thinking of have a get together this saturday to meet fellow evo owners here..im new here so i dont know any good meet up spots..would anyone be interested? post any suggestions on a place and time

 

we have a meet every 1st wednesday of the month with the Subie guys/gal at Jordan Creek Mall by PF Changs...Oct 1st is the next meet. Around 5:30 pm or so...all kinds of cars, but Evo owners will be there.
