There are plentyo f reasonable rentals/purchases to be had within about 15min drive of Logan CC...Valley Park, Fenton, Twin Oaks, Manchester. I agree though, Chesterfield is not the place for a budget minded person.

Thanks for the info. My agent is showing us houses within a 30 min drive of the school. Prices range from 150's to 200 in surrounding areas. My wife will be working to support us as well.

I hope to make it out to Gateway on Sat too. I'm from TX and it'll be my first time there. I'm actually not sure how to get there, but i'll mapquest or google it. There really is a lack of interest with regard to the "tuner" or enthusiest crowd here. In Houston if I didnt see some kind of modded car with in 10 min of driving I would get worried. It is refreshing NOT to have all the ricer guys and girls around tho. Those who claim having "400hp" and also claim to have a twin turbo single cam civic...yeah.

I'm here. I like the area a lot. Today we looked in the O'fallen area. We saw 2 houses that we are considering. Tomorrow we are looking in the Manchester area. We did a little looking around on our own yesterday in the manchester area and I saw a white EVO sitting in a garage. Anyone know who's it is?

could have been. I have no idea where I was. We did end up buying a nice ranch style house in O'Fallon. It has a biult out basement and a 2 car garage. Closing is in the end of April. I will be moving out in the begining of May.

Well I have finaly moved. I'm here id CHesterfield. I ended up not buying a house because the sellers didn't want to fix some major plumbing problems. When is the next meet at Sonic?
