where to get an oil change
Ok this might sound stupid but i never trusted the people at places like jiffy lube. I need somewhere in the suburbs i can just take my car down. I don`t have the time to do it my self. So if anyone can suggest a decent place i`d apprecieate it.
Btw sorry chicago suburbs.

Un fortunately the only person to trust is yourself. People change oils on the cars, and they can make mistakes. This way if you mess up, you know exactly what you did. But if they mess up, they might not tell you and just it cover up.
A while back my dad had a Nissan he took in to the dealership to get the oil changed. They forgot to screw on the oil cap and oil squirted out all over the place. Smoke was getting inside the cabin as well. He took it back in and they told him a little oil was spilled on the motor thats why. When he brought the car back I inspected and saw that they washed the engine bay but they also neatly cut the cardboard cover from under the hood on top of the oil cap. And there were some spots where oil was absorbed. All the clues lead me to believe that they left the oil cap off, because no way in hell a little oil spilled on the motor will cause all that.
But in the end if I would have some one change my oil, I would still rather have a dealership do it than a small who knows what car shop.
