Getting screwed on Injector purchase
Edit by Brian_H: It's been confirmed that this person doesn't and never did work for Showdown motorsports.
I'm not sure where this goes but I'm getting the shaft on some 1200cc injectors I purchased from toledodsmer. The shop affiliated with him is NOT Show Down Racing, in Toledo, OH. I've been waiting to get these now for a month. I paypalled the money back on the 17th and have been getting the run around. I've heard every excuse known to man. Frankly I'm a little sick of the whole deal. I'm about ready to drive to Toledo and pay this shady shop a visit and either get my injectors or my money back. If anyone lives in this area and can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You mentioned that toledodsmr is "affiliated" with Showdown. How so?
Is it this Showdown? If so, have you contacted Bill over there to discuss the problem?

Okay, this is my last follow-up to this, since the original poster doesn't feel he owes anyone an explanation after bringing a shop's name into this, and new information about the shady seller has come to light.
Bill and Renee at Showdown were very clear about this kid ("toledodsmr"; his name is Jai): he has not, nor has he ever worked at Showdown, and was actually thrown out of the shop recently. About the same time this bad deal with the injectors happened, he was also in the middle of completing a sale of a "Shep Stage 4, 5 passes total" transmission. Except, of course, he didn't have any such transmission; he instead bought a completely different (and somewhat custom) transmission from someone else that was "close enough", and had that person ship the transmission directly to his buyer.
His buyer was understandably not pleased about this when the fraud was discovered (the transfer case spline count didn't match what it would normally be), nor was the original transmission's owner, who has done everything he can to make it right with the buyer (whom he only dealt with after-the-fact).
I'm leaving the names of the people involved out of this, because they've already put up with enough crap related to this transaction, but I'd obviously advise against doing business with the guy. If you really want to read all the drama, it's publically viewable here.
