$500 Reward -My Evo Got Broken Into. Looking for these Unique parts

My car got broken into this morning on 15th and Morgan University Village in Chicago ILLINOIS.

Aside of breaking my glass, they took my Valentine 1 Radar Detector and my

Custom indash Touch Screen Xenarc Monitor.

I will post the serial number of my Valentine 1 when I get home tonight and I will also look for pictures of the custom indash Touch screen display.
I have no idea why a thief would want that piece, It doesn't fit any car but my Evo specifically as I had to really custom mold it into the dash. Also the Car Computer was being upgraded and so the power supply to the display won't work Not to mention the remote for it to power on is at home.

In all about 1200 dollars in damage to me and the thief will probably only sell the radar detector for 50$-100$. With no power cord either.

If I can recover all of these items.. or a lead to a prosecution I will gladly pay a 500$ reward for your help.

Update:

Here is the Picture of the JDM Double Din that was Taken. This piece is unique and I have never seen it on another U.S. Evo.

Wow that really sucks.

Was your V1 hidden at all?

Mine is mounted up front with the window clips, and now I'm afraid that someone will break in and steal it. I also have a GPS visible. :O

Alarm did go off but what's the point if by the time you get out.. It's gone.. The Valentine 1 was actually mounted rather high.. and note the phone cable for power so it was pretty discrete. The indash Computer screen is actually easy to pop off.. about 2 seconds of time. So yea.. He pretty much made a quick getaway.

I posted it up here because I know for a fact that I was the only one with that front Double Din Display.

I'll get a picture of it when i get home but IT'S NOT THE ORBITAL DOUBLE DIN.

I custom made it from a mix of an actual JDM Evo Double Din and glued that to a stock Evo 8 Din. THE DIFFERENCE is the quality of the double din. It is stock appearing and doesn't have the harsh surface that the Orbital unit has.. instead it's a nice clean and smooth shinny surface.

It sucks having to do that custom part all over again. I waited 4 weeks for it to arrive from japan.

i live over by morgan and van buren. and ever since this summer, cars have been getting broken into left and right. my advice to you is try not to show stuff like a radar out because thats the first thing they look for. put it under the seat or in the trunk under the carpeting or something. im sorry for what has happened. its always hard to see stuff like this when you come outside and see your car.
