Road America event

Heres the deal. The people who put this together I know very well, and did this last year in my ZX. It's actually a great time. If anyone wants to do this let me know. Spots are limited. Here's the link

If anyone is interested in driving in the Advanced Group or Intermediate Group (Groups are: Assertive, Advanced, Intermediate, Novice) on Sunday, 4/18 only, please pm or email me. I'm attempting to set something up so that my wife and I could both drive on different days and in different groups.

do you think this will even be worthwhile in a normal Lancer with no engine mods? id love to drive on a track and get some experience aside from autocrossing..

I used to run with the Alfa Romeo Club at RA, there were stock Neon's there and a stock Saturn. In fact, on my very first run ever, in my 300ZXTT, the Saturn was only a couple of seconds slower than I was. Actually, tracks like GingerMan or Blackhawk are more fun and satisfying for lower hp rated cars.

Not to mention, Gingerman is a much safer track for beginners.

RA has the nice concrete walls lining the course, and BFR has those pesky trees around turn 2 that like to jump out at you.

Hope to see you at the events. I used to run with them while I was at school. Now that I'm finished and can actually afford to run my car, I seem to have a lack of time. Figures.

But I bought my Evo specifically for track events like the ones Midwest Council runs. Will be fun to see how well our cars place overall.

Midwest Council runs at both Gingerman and BFR for their high speed autoX (aka Solo I)

Damn, my bad. I just realized that you have an OZ.

J/K

But if you beat my times................ I'm gonna be pissed.

Look for a blue Evo at the events.
