WAI Autocross and Driver's School 04/23/05

Just a heads up to you all, Wisconsin Autocrossers Inc is holding a driver's school this weekend 4/23/05 at Miller Park in Milwaukee. There will be a race to follow on Sunday the 24th. There is still room in both for registration.

Considering there is only one other person besides the two of us who looked/replied in the thread i don't think i stole that much of your audiance :P

On top of that, it's not like you have an EVO your avatar....

whitet777 Apr 19, 2005 12:28 PM

Ok, not thunder, more like the sound a Honda makes when attempting to accelerate :)

As far as my avatar, the Evo may be fast and fun to drive, but the Elise is a much better looking car.

What's up fellas, I'll be at the WAI race on Sunday, but not the school. It's my first time out this year, Tim I'm looking forward to trying out those springs of yours finally! I had a blast at some TSSCC races last year, but now I live all the way up in Gurnee, so I gotta try out this Milwaukee scene.
Never been up there before for a race, so if you see a guy with his head up his a** wandering around come say hi because it's probably me.

Nate,

No problem. See you there. I saw you signed up in STU.

Make sure to bring your snow tires with :) Forecast doesn't look real good for Sunday including possible snow showers!

On a side note: how come no one from the Renner Evo Club is coming???

Tim

Yeah, after seeing the 2005 PAX I became enlightened (many thanks for bringing that to my attention btw). I'm not driving on R compounds, so STU it is!
Yeah, I saw the weather too. I really hope it doesn't snow, my half-bald advans could make that interesting. Although it's looking more like showers, fairly low % chance, but the poncho will be in effect.

Time to revive this thread after a fun Sunday drive! I'm surprised at the lack of posting and smack talking here compared to the threads about the chicago events! Come on guys, there were several impressively driven evos and stis at this event, including some who stopped by but didn't race  Anyway, I had a blast, met some cool folks (Pete, Nick, etc) and overall I was impressed with how organized and efficient it ran, even with the odd computer glitch. Dee Dee runs a tight ship.
Tim - hope to get a ride with you/take you along with me next time if we are spaced out enough.

Thanks for stopping by Nate. Hope to see you at future events. Make sure to check out Milwaukee region SCCA events also.
