Who's up for a dyno Day?

I'm wondering who else would be interested in having a dyno day in our region; Preferably within an 8 hour drive of the Minneapolis area.

I'm hoping we can get enough interest to perhaps get Shiv out for some exede tunning.

Hate to say it but AWD dyno's are kinda hard to come by. If you want to take the differential out of your transfer case then you could dyno the hp through the front wheels.

i am up for it...if we can find an all wheel drive dyno...i am not screwing with my differential

It woulld definitly need to be an AWD dyno. Anyone know of a good shop that might be willing to work with a group?

A touch of googleing turned up:

DynaTech
7511 W. Cermak Rd.
North Riverside, IL 60546
(708) 442-8951

They appear to have a Mustang dyno

Anyone have any current info on these folks? The page I found was from 2001.

Are you sure it is an AWD dyno? I called the list on the Mustang page and everyone indicated that they have two wheel units. This includes the Ultimate Driver which has yet to receive the unit they ordered from Mustang.

The AWD market street tuning market is really not that large and the investment is somewhat large.

It's my fault to consulting with the manufacture of the dyno when I went looking for a Mustang AWD system in the midwest!

There is a thread already going on for same in the Chicago area:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=34760

While it is only about 4.5hrs from the TC area, I wonder if it would be cheaper (and more fun) to take a vacation and drive to Pleasanton by the time you tally all the costs of renting a dyno, flying Shiv over, etc...

Personally, I'd be willing to wait until AAD Performance in Blaine
(www.aadperformance.com from thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=33662) gets their dyno.
