Winter's almost here!! Byron this Saturday 10/22??
 

Hey guys,

The weather is lookin' BEAUTIFUL (64 and Sunny) for one last track day before winter!! Plus it's all day test and tune!! I've talked with several people the past couple of weeks about going so I thought I'd start a thread to see who all is gonna try to make it out. I know Joey (Evosick2332) was talking about bringing the "Junk Box" out for one last shot at 8's. Me? Well I'm looking to get into the 12's :lol: Anyway, hope to see a nice group of Evos out there tearin' it up :mitsu:{thumbup}

I would love to go but I'm going to be working on replacing a leaking valve stem seal. :crap:

Not this time have other set plans for the weekend. An I don't know if you know this but my car decided to release a rod threw the block. Joey will fill you in on the juicy rebuild details! Anyway good luck bud!

Aww sorry to hear that man! Well it's kinda like what I've been telling my wife ever since I got the Evo- "There are no such things as breakdowns or failures. Just opportunities to upgrade!" :lol: That being said, she's gonna kill me if I lose a motor on Saturday with a baby on the way. Better race with my fingers crossed :lol: Best wishes with the new build bro {thumbup}

Had a great time at Byron Dragway today! So glad I got to see everyone one last time before winter! I didn't go quite as fast as I was hoping but still ran what I think is a respectable time- 12.63 @ 111. Considering all the junk that was in my trunk I'm pretty happy with it. I DD my car and don't change anything when I get to the track, so it feels good knowing that I have a legit, daily driven, mid-12 second car on a stock turbo and pump gas. Hoping to make it out once more on 11/12 if the weather holds out so hopfully I'll see some of you there {thumbup}

Yeah I saw a few of you guys there and spoke to a couple briefly as well. I didn't have any great passes but it was a great day to be out.

Got pulled over by a state trooper on my way back on I88 and got a warning. We then chit chat about my mods for a few minutes and was told to be careful next time. lol I didn't get so luck tonight though. Got 2 tickets and one is for loud exhaust...and then a truck with aftermarket exhaust zooms by.

I will be there on the 12th! Need to get one last run in for the year :)

Start praying for the weather to hold out. Hopefully we can get one last track day in {thumbup}
