But what extactly is a Turbo outlet/02 Housing? .. what's the point of getting a new one?

Not to many companies come out with them.. are they worth getting?
does it like help back pressure?
just let the wastegate work better?

i noticed Megan's and Buschur were the only companies i saw that kept coming up. and i know both companies are good. but i havent seen two many use them... is the stock one good enough so people dont change them?

its a bigger housing.. helps spool up... not a easy mod if you dont know what it is.. youd be better off with an turbo back exhaust... less work for ya..

 

well that's what i dont get... i already have (well it's on the way) a downpipe and catback exhuast.... am i already replaceing the turbo outlet? or is the turbo outlet between the downpipe and the turbo?

 

yes, its between the dp and the turbo. Some offer 2.5 inch (slightly larger than stock?) while other have 2.75in. WORKS is coming out with 3 inch.

 

your DP connects to it...

do some search on that topic before you change. I heard some few issues with larger or bored out 02 housing..,.
