There are many threads on this, but no concise answers. I think someone should make a thread in the how-to section outlining the process and the choices in fluids. Anyway, for the trans. I believe Redline MT-90 is the right one to use if you want not to use the Mitsu oil.

I tried the MT90 and cold weather shifting did improve but I did not like the over all feel and notchness of the tranny. The stock oil is a bit thicker then MT90 and I like the way it shift over MT90.

BG Syncroshift in Tranny

Redline Heavy Shockproof in Transfer

Redline 75w90 Rear Diff

Note: There seems to be a spate of "redline haters" on the boards lately...dunno why. Its some of the best stuff made, but as always, form your own opinions

Dude this has been covered over and over again. Use the search. You'll never get a "correct" asnswer. Everyone has there own opinion. You'll have 100 different answers by the end of the day. Use OEM to be on the safe side. I use Royal Purple myself. I think for the most part if you go with an oil from one of the bigger compies you'll be alright.
