gsc 272i/272e vs 264i/272e

Would I be better off going with the full 272 setup, or is that pointless? I plan on staying with the stock turbo for a long time, and plan on getting a new intercooler/piping in the near future. You can see my additional mods in the sig. Please let me know, b/c I will be buying cams shortly. Thanks.

I was told to go with the 264i/272e cam set up for the stock turbo. I posed the same questions as you before I bought my GSC 264/272 cams. Another plus was there was no need for cam gears wit this set up. I believe with stright 272's you need a ajustable cam gear.

try 272/264 A lot of people may not realize that the stock setup maybe 260/256.

I just ordered the 272/264......i did a little research, and people are saying that this setup offers more low end power, and around the same topend power as 264/272.....guess we will find out?

For that stock turbo, 272/264 is the best setup, but if u plan on upgrading your turbo, straights 272s are what u want. But as u mentioned before, the 272/264 setup should be perfect. I just installed my GSC 272/272 the other day with cam gears, and boy was it a fun installation .......they car pulls like a mother now, but i need a tune badly. Oh well, you'll be real happy with your cams bro!
