Flywheel machined, interesting discovery.

Got the flywheel machined, they said it was .010" off. (I think that's how your write 10 one thousandths of an inch) I have 10k on the stock clutch.

Here's the before photo, hard to see the purple heat marks. I'll take an after tonight.

What are other peoples flywheels at?

.010" dish is not bad for a flywheel that size of that material.

FYI-

One thousandth of an inch is .001, not .010

.1=tenth
.01=hundredth
.001=thousandth

he said it was 10 of one thousandths of an inch, so 0.001x10 = 0.010 which is same as one hundreth of an inch, m'kay

Machinists usually think and measure in terms of thousanths, not hundreths. Instead of saying one hundreth, they would say "10 thousanths". Trivia point: It is also common for machinists to say "tenths" when they are referring to the ten thousanths column (.0001", tenths of a thousanth) rather than meaning tenths of an inch.
