I have a 4g63 short block with a blown piston. Alky kit quit working and it det. and blew the 2nd piston up. Everything else is sound on it.

I would like to trade it for an ams intake manifold . May consider other intake manifolds.

question could there be anthing else wrong with this bolck besides the piston?

 

The #2 piston scored the cyclinder wall a bit when it blew up. I took it to a machine shop and they said 20 over would clean it up.

im looking for a block but at the same time not wanting a boat anchor. what does 20 over mean? and how much to fix that problem

 

he's reffering to the bore, if you get this and go the fully built route, you will most likely end up getting some pistons that are 0.020 over, which is the bore, i'm not sure exactly how it works, but they get this machine, and bore is 0.020 over
