Ohlins Street Suspension

Just in:

Ohlins street suspension. Adjustable ride height, includes springs. Adjustable damping (30 position). I will be installing them tonight. I have one other set in stock - $2100.00.

Ohlins falls into the area of "da ****" as you kids like to say. You don't hear as much about it on car forums and the such because they are usually reserved for the hardcore racers.

LOL... Go read a motorsports book. Ohlins is probably the best suspension group in the market. They do the Ducati's, WRC suspension, and several other prestige racing classes. WRC4ever even has the racing spec on his Evo 7.

Doesn't the suspension come with the stoppers at the stop. They seem a little used, and would they happen to fit an Evo 7?

The suspension kits are brand new from Ohlins. All original packing and hardware included. The front struts are reverse mount to reduce the unsprung weight. The bump stops are in the lower tube.

After installing the suspension last night with the recommended settings from Ohlins, the car rode extremely well. Handled bumps as good or better the stock suspension yet with a lower ride height. I am very impressed with them. I haven't gotten a lot of time to drive the car yet but will post more feedback soon as well as ride height changes...

Those look like the Japanese Ohlins not the swedish Ohlins. They are not the same.

This is the swedish Ohlins Evo 7 suspension. They are not even $2100 per corner.

There was a company in Japan making Ohlins street suspension under license from Ohlins Racing AB but the new Evo 8 street suspension is made by Ohlins AB in Sweden and can be rebuilt by a qualified dealer here in the US (like us).

They are NOT rally suspension. We pretty much use Ohlins rally suspension exclusively on our rally cars and you are correct they are a lot more expensive (like $6500 for the new Evo 7/8 suspension). Trust me, you would not want to drive everyday on rally suspension unless you plan on doing stuff like this:

But, yes I do want the Ohlins Group N suspension at cut down to tarmac height. I just wanted to let everyone know that it is not what claudius among others speak so highly of.
