Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions - On Sale
Hi Everyone, this is my first post. I did a search and didn't see anybody mentioning this, so I thought I would.
Right now at Tire Rack, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions in 235/45/ZR17 size are on sale for $140/tire. Plus there is a $100 rebate (in the form of an American Express reward card) when you buy 4.
Just ordered a set for my baby!!

I just had the RE050A Pole Positions mounted (in stock size on stock rims), and where the grip is amazing, the sidewall is not quite as stiff and therefore the handling not quite as razor sharp as with the stock Advans. It's subtle and I'm being very picky here, but I do feel it.
I don't know what they set the tire pressure at when I mounted it, but if it's at the stock pressure, would boosting the tire pressure help with this?
I know I'm being **** with this, because it is minor and having said what I did, the subtle handling difference is worth the price differential to me (got the RE050A pp effectively for $115/tire after rebate).
