looking at getting new brakes. a little help

im looking at putting new stock brembos on the evo. im wondering what would be a good price. the local firestone said that is would cost $750 for 4 pads and labor. any ideas on prices?

hahahah!!!!!!!! $750 for pads and labor?!?!?!? Are you nuts????

Hawk HPS pads are as good if not better than stock and I got mine for $155 shipped and it took me an hour to do all four corners myself. Even if you must pay for labor I would never spend over $400 or so.

$750 for pads plus install is a joke IMHO. $350~400 would be a good price for new pads and install.

honestly man i would order some Hawk pads (or Ferodo DS2500s for a little bit more) and do them yourself. If you can change a tire, you can do brake pads.

Now back to work.

well i got a guy that hooked me up. getting the stock brembo pads for 38 bucks for the front 2 and 32 bucks for the back two. the labor is going to cost 50 bucks. lol. what you guys think.

check the quality of the pads and make sure you drive around in a flat parking lot to test them out
