I ain't crazy, BUT what do you think...
o.k., I've been thinking about converting my RHD GSR into LHD and getting rid of the dash at the same time and replacing it with a rally dashboard.
1. Is this possible? I'm 99,9% sure it is.
2. How diffcult would it be? I think this would at least require for me to modify my turbo piping, not taking into account the work needed on the steering and the pedals.
3. How much would this approx. cost?
I'm thinking that at least these parts will be needed:
- steering rack
- servo hoses
- different steering bit on the front wheels (don't know what that is called)
- different pedals
- all connecting bits for the pedals
the danger I see is that the clutch/gearbox is different on RHD, so that I'd need to change that, at megacost making the whole thing a bit too expensive. On the other hand, if this will be done, whoever does the conversion can fit a rollcage while they're at it

How stupid can you be?! When you lived in the UK and thought about selling it, I was selling my black LHD Evo 6 RS2 with some serious Dynamic Suspensions (and turbo timer
) but you ended up keeping the car because you're in love with it or sthg. While what you say is possible and has been done an a 22B some stime ago, why dont you sell your car in the UK and buy another one on the continent?
How's the gearbox different?
Hey, Michael:
Damn, you don't understand, do you? Why would I want to buy your gay-alcantara 6?? I'll rather have Proflex than Dynamics... and also there's some cost involved in selling and buying a car, at the time it would've been possible, but not anymore because of car import/export tax. The main reason for me to even consider a change is that I'm thinking about having my car stripped on the inside with a cage and while someone is doing that I thought it wouldn't be too expansive to have it done, pendejo! I just want to know how much it would cost, and with a little luck it could be less expensive than it would've been to sell my car and buying a new one, STRONZO!!! Ti spacco la facchia, Arschwixer!! Erst denken, dann handeln.... Peiler!!!
