ECUtek tuned or tuners & dtc's

Does anyone who has had an ECUtek tune or any tuner know if the current version of the tuning software will elminate diagnostic trouble codes? I am preparing to mod my car and get it tuned, but I don't want to deal with recurring dtc's. I'd rather wait until there is a newer software version or another option available. I stopped by my local tuner today and he was unsure if he could delete/alter the dtc's for emissions purposes with ECUtek.

Thanks

Anyone?

Basically, what I'm wondering is did your tuner remove/alter emissions codes for low cat efficiency for those with high flow cats or test pipes?

The ECUTeK software currently does not allow modifying that code. If they did put that bit of code in later and you were having issues in that area, it would only take 10 minutes to update it. I cant imagine a tuner charging for a little update like that (I wouldnt). I wouldnt put off tuning it for that.

But a spacer/antifouler on the second O2 sensor fixes it right up for now.

A high flow cat should not have any problems with those codes.

Thanks for the information. That's good to know about the antifouler. I've been researching it as well.
