Zeitronix wideband installation

I am getting ready to install Zeitronix wideband, got 2 questions

1) for rpm pick up, do i tap into ecm harness pin #8, Crankshaft Position sensor?

2) for boost sensor, do i T it off from fuel pressure regulator vacuum line?

Thanks

Late reply but...I'm using the DashDaq so I didn't need to connect the rpm wire but I did T of my boost signal from the fpr vacuum line with no problems and it works great.

The ZT-2 can display boost, EGT, AFR, and a few other things through data logging with the supplied software that's probably why he is asking.

I figured as much, but seems weird to ask "for my wideband install, where do I tap off to get rpm and boost" lol.

You can also tap off an injector to get RPM.

Pin 4, #1 ign coil (for RPM)

But pin 2 is #1 injector...

I'm gonna do this install as soon as I get a HFC on for the O2 sensor bung.

If your wideband is zeitronix compatible, yes, you can. If not, you may attach you wideband analog output to the DashDaq analog input, which comes with your Zeitronix-DashDaq cable. Then, you will need to create a calculated data at DashDaq in order to translate the voltage to AFR or lambda at DashDaq.

I have a MAP sensor, EGT sensor and Wideband, all connected to ZT2, then to DashDaq. It works perfectely in my wife's Eclipse 4G. I was thinking about getting a similar setup to my Evo X, but I am waiting for the Handheld EvoScan to be Evo X compatible, before deciding which one to get. DashDaq is really flexible with gauge layout, logging, calculations, but it lacks Mitsubishi specific support (their Mitsubishi License doesnt works with very new or very old Mitsus - doesnt work with my 2G GSX, 2G GST, 4G GT nor my Evo X).

Best regards,
Ziki
