Does the AP lock the ECU so ppl cant look at it?

I used the valet map on my car when I took it to the shop. They told me that the rev limiter was at 4500 and of course it is because thats what the valet map on the Accessport does. But I was wondering besides driving it to 4500 rpm Can that limit be found by pulling data with a computer or something? Forgive my grammar
. Any comment would appreciated Thank You?

Nope. The only way they can see your ECU tables is through AccessTuner Race or ECUFlash.
My question would be, why are they driving your car around and hitting the rev limiter? It's a good bet they didn't find out it was 4500 by taking it easy on the gas pedal. Good thing you loaded in the valet map.

No, the shop probably took it out to ensure everything was fine, and when they got into it, they hit the rev limiter. I'd be asking their supervisor how they can justify driving your car in such a manner.
